Panasonic HDC-HS200 The Panasonic HDC-HS200 is a hybrid model that records Full HD images either on an SD (or SDHC) memory card or the built-in 80GB hard disk drive. The HS200 can copy recorded video images from the SD memory card to the hard disk, or vice versa, with easy operation. The Panasonic HS200 features the Full HD 3MOS sensor which captures more vibrant, true-to-life colours, greater detail and richer gradation. The HS200?fs iA function automatically activates several convenient shooting functions. These include Advanced O.I.S., which compensates for hand-shake to eliminate blurring; Face Detection, which adjusts the exposure so faces are captured perfectly; and Intelligent Contrast Control, which helps ensure proper contrast. Also included is the Intelligent Scene Selector which determines the shooting conditions and automatically selects the optimal scene setting. While AF Tracking keeps the subject in focus even if it moves around to ensure continuously perfect image quality. The HS200 comes with a 12x optical zoom Leica Dicomar lens and also features a 2.7-inch wide LCD. When recording to SD or SDHC memory cards, the HS20 is highly resistant to external impact because SD memory cards require no transport mechanism. This makes the HS200 an excellent travel companion.
